Amy Spinnato, Director of Financial Aid Services speaks with Matt; informing students and parents about important services available: college FAFSA info nights, Money Mondays, Financial Aid TV, as well as online chat tools for students to reach out to the Financial Aid Department. “The Show MUST go on” …and with that being said, The HCC Theater Department didn’t let the Covid-19 Quarantine stop their vision. Although the College was closed, the Theater Department still performed their end of the semester play entitled ‘The Mind of a Child’ on their virtual stage. Nasia talks with student actress, editor, and co-head writer Dakara Bon and the Associate Professor of Theatre Dr. Ben Fisler about the play and the process they had to follow to get all of the HCC actors together on Zoom to pull it all off. Since the Coronavirus pandemic hit, the campus has been shut down. Later, Matt speaks with Mijung Kim, Art & Design student at HCC, who has developed a project to make masks for places and people that truly need them.

Thomas Alcide, Chief Information Officer for Information Technology Services at HCC speaks to Matt about phishing cyber-threats and how to protect yourself from them, the opportunities for students to get hands-on learning I.T. experiences in the department, and important software skills in the workforce. Later, Nasia Creamer sits down for an interview with Elizabeth Mosser, Associate Dean for Academic Operations and Jennie Towner, Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness at HCC. They discuss the 2nd Annual Leadership Conference at Harford Community College, a conference featuring a Q&A with a panel of women in leadership roles, keynote speaker Sharon Jacobs and other open discussions.

Adam brings in two Fighting Owls to the Nest, Sarah Dudick, and Caroline Abbott and they give student perspectives about balancing their athletics and studies, upcoming games, their hopes for the season and how they've grown with HCC Athletics! Then, Matt speaks with Dr. Janice Mahinka, Assistant Professor of Musicology and Dr. Richard Johnson, Assistant Professor of Music Theory and Composition, and they dish on the excellent concerts coming up at HCC, music classes and lessons at HCC, and the many ensembles available in the Music Department.
