Amy Spinnato, Director of Financial Aid Services speaks with Matt; informing students and parents about important services available: college FAFSA info nights, Money Mondays, Financial Aid TV, as well as online chat tools for students to reach out to the Financial Aid Department. Get ahead on your FAFSA, and get the resources to pay for college!

“The Show MUST go on” …and with that being said, The HCC Theater Department didn’t let the Covid-19 Quarantine stop their vision. Although the College was closed, the Theater Department still performed their end of the semester play entitled ‘The Mind of a Child’ on their virtual stage. Nasia talks with student actress, editor, and co-head writer Dakara Bon and the Associate Professor of Theatre Dr. Ben Fisler about the play and the process they had to follow to get all of the HCC actors together on Zoom to pull it all off. Since the Coronavirus pandemic hit, the campus has been shut down. Matt Terry speaks with interim President Dr. Jackson about how the college has adapted, and continues to serve our student body and keep our staff safe. Later, Matt speaks with Mijung Kim, Art & Design student at HCC, who has developed a project to make masks for places and people that truly need them.

Thomas Alcide, Chief Information Officer for Information Technology Services at HCC speaks to Matt about phishing cyber-threats and how to protect yourself from them, the opportunities for students to get hands-on learning I.T. experiences in the department, and important software skills in the workforce. Later, Nasia Creamer sits down for an interview with Elizabeth Mosser, Associate Dean for Academic Operations and Jennie Towner, Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness at HCC. They discuss the 2nd Annual Leadership Conference at Harford Community College, a conference featuring a Q&A with a panel of women in leadership roles, keynote speaker Sharon Jacobs and other open discussions.

Matt speaks with Sandra Clifford, Director for Procurement about her role, the department's vital function on campus, potential student opportunities, and the process Procurement undergoes when purchasing for the college. Then Lauren Ciambruschini, Communications Specialist, talks to Matt about her many roles on campus managing the college's social media, event reporting, graphic design and more; as well as shadow days for students interested in learning at the Communications Department.

Matt Terry has a sports chat with Adam Fornwalt, Manager for Sports Information and Game Operations. Adam brings in two Fighting Owls to the Nest, Sarah Dudick, and Caroline Abbott and they give student perspectives about balancing their athletics and studies, upcoming games, their hopes for the season and how they've grown with HCC Athletics! Then, Matt speaks with Dr. Janice Mahinka, Assistant Professor of Musicology and Dr. Richard Johnson, Assistant Professor of Music Theory and Composition, and they dish on the excellent concerts coming up at HCC, music classes and lessons at HCC, and the many ensembles available in the Music Department.

Amy Wallace from the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) drops by the nest and talks to Matt Terry about what the SBDC is, what it does for the campus and community, opportunities for our students to intern and about the upcoming 'Shark Tank' Event, a contest where valuable aid to new and existing businesses can be won! Nasia Creamer has a chat with Dr. Tammira Lucas, Assistant Professor of the Community Education, Business and Applied Technology Department (CBAT) and she speaks about the department, its certifications and what inspired her to become a teacher and the 'Diamond Challenge' Event, where students pitch their entrepreneurial ideas from around the world!

Then, Benny Russell, leader of the Benny Russell Big Band and Adjunct Professor of the Music Department at HCC talks with Matt about the Jazz Ensemble; his teaching style, and the steps new music students should take when beginning.
